Alessandro's love for music started very early, listening for hours to his dad playing every kind of music with his 12-string guitar or his organ. Alessandro has been an avid Elvis fan since he was a kid, it all started when his brother bought a cassette tape with the early rock’n’roll songs on Side A, and the 70’s ballads on Side B.
Alessandro has performed in multiple provinces in Canada, in Cuba in Italy and in the USA. Alessandro has appeared on Global TV and on multiple local newspapers in Canada. Alessandro has started competing in 2022 and he has already won the following awards: Grand Champion 2024 Angus Rock'n'roll Festival, Winner of Elvis Professional division 2024 Angus Rock'n'roll Festival, Grand Champion Non-Pro Division at the 2024 Penticton Elvis Festival in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia; First place Elvis Non-Pro Category at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; Kevin Dorion Award at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; TJ Jackson Spirit Of Elvis award at the 2022 Elvis Festival in Tweed, Ontario. He has reached the finals at the following Festivals: 2022 and 2023 Penticton BC Elvis Festival, 2022 Tweed ON Elvis Festival, 2022 Flaming Star Festival in Toronto ON, all in the non-Pro category.
Alessandro at home has created a tribute to Elvis' Graceland jungle room and media room, one of the few ETAs around the globe, if not the first one, to do so.
His goals while performing are to have fun, to challenge himself and to be able to transmit to the audience his unconditional love and passion for Elvis, the amazing entertainer and human being.

2025 in a nutshell
2025 — A Year of Elvis, Festivals & Unforgettable Performances
2025 was an exciting and memorable year for Alessandro Votta as Elvis, filled with performances, Elvis festivals, private celebrations, corporate events, and opportunities to bring the music and spirit of Elvis Presley to audiences throughout Western Canada.
The year began with performances in Edmonton and Calgary, including the Edmonton Oil Kings Hockey Game at Rogers Place, followed by shows at High River Hospital, Avenida Market, BMO Centre, Big Al’s Pub & Grill, Marko’s Kitchen, Nick’s Steakhouse and the Vermilion Legion.
Spring brought performances throughout Alberta and into Clearwater, British Columbia, including birthday celebrations, community events, car shows, church fundraisers and dinner shows.
Elvis Festivals
2025 was also another important year on the Elvis festival circuit.
Alessandro returned to the Penticton Elvis Festival in British Columbia in June, followed by the Westlock Elvis Tribute Festival in July and the Angus Elvis Festival in Ontario in September.
These festival appearances continued a remarkable run that included previous 1st-place victories at the Angus Rock’n’Roll Festival and Penticton Elvis Festival, as well as recognition with the Spirit of Elvis Award.
From intimate celebrations to big stages
Throughout the summer and fall, Alessandro performed at private birthday celebrations, car shows, community events and major venues, including Ace Casino Blackfoot, while continuing his regular dinner-and-show appearances at Marko’s Kitchen.
He also brought Elvis to an audience you don’t always see at traditional tribute shows — performing singing telegrams and entertainment for patients at Calgary-area hospitals, including High River Hospital, Foothills Hospital, Rockyview Hospital and Peter Lougheed Hospital.
The year continued into the holiday season with performances at the Calgary Fairmont Palliser, Edmonton Fairmont MacDonald, CNRL corporate Christmas events, Silver Springs Golf Club, private Christmas parties, Ace Casino Calgary locations, and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
From rock ’n’ roll classics to the legendary Vegas years, 2025 was a year of keeping Elvis’s music alive — one audience at a time.
